Now with 3.484 billion growth of active user in the last decade, social media is the fastest growing trend in marketing history. That being said, almost four out of every seven humans on this planet has a Facebook account. Crazy, right?

In fact, 3.26 billion social media user use it from their mobile device. With this jaw-dropping increase in mobility, we’re so addicted to checking our mobile phones and the social media apps on them that there’s even a word for our obsession—Nomophobia, the fear of not being near your mobile phone.

With such widespread use, social media presents an incredible marketing opportunity. If you’re not using social media marketing already, you’ll either have to learn it now or lose in the long run.

Now, let’s dive into definition first, to extend your understanding towards the phrase. We define social media as creating visual and effective interactive wordplay, shaped to the context of each media platform to drive engagement, desire, and actions.

We must understand that each platform requires a different strategy to go viral. But right now, everybody competes to be viral. What you can do is creating engaging contents that make the user want to re-share it to her circle. We must know that there is always a new way of communicating, reaching customers, creating developing leads, and innovative strategies.
